Will your phone work with eSIM?

Most phones from recent years support eSIM. Your model just needs to be on the list and carrier-unlocked.

  • iPhone XS, XR and newer
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Z Flip and Z Fold
  • Google Pixel 3 and newer
Check your model on the full list

How it works

  1. Pick a plan and pay - by card, transfer or BLIK.
  2. Your QR code arrives by e-mail the moment the payment goes through.
  3. Scan the code in your phone settings and you are done.

Install the eSIM at home, on your own wi-fi. Data switches on by itself when you land - no hunting for a network, no buying a SIM at the airport.

How much data to pick? A quick guide

Plan size depends on what you do on your phone, not on how long you travel. Video makes the biggest difference.

How you use your phone 1 day 3 days 7 days 14 days
No video Maps, WhatsApp, e-mail, Uber 1 GB 2 GB 5 GB 10 GB
With social media The above + Instagram, Facebook, browsing 2 GB 5 GB 10 GB 20 GB
With streaming The above + TikTok, YouTube, video calls 3 GB 10 GB 20 GB unlimited

You do not have to get it exactly right. Leave films for the hotel wi-fi and the first row is enough. If you run out, you can top up without swapping the eSIM.

eSIM Europe - frequently asked questions

Will the eSIM work in Europe?
Yes. Once you scan the QR code, your phone connects to a local network in Europe - just like a SIM bought on arrival, only without hunting for a shop or showing your passport.
What network technology does the eSIM use, and how fast will it be?
The eSIM connects using whatever the local operator offers - usually LTE, and 5G in some countries. No eSIM provider can guarantee real-world speed, ourselves included: none of us build the masts, we all ride on the same infrastructure as SIM cards bought locally. Downtown will be faster than the mountains, a desert or a small island - and that depends on the state of the network in Europe, not on who sold you the eSIM.
How much data do I need for Europe?
Normal phone use - maps, messaging, social media - burns 700 MB to 1.2 GB a day, so 5-8 GB covers a week. Navigation costs 100-200 MB per hour, social media 100-150 MB. Video is the expensive one: an hour of streaming or a video call can take up to 1 GB. Leave films for the hotel wi-fi and a smaller plan is plenty. For Europe we have 21 plans, sized 1 GB - 100 GB. There is an unlimited option too.
When does the validity period start?
The moment the eSIM first connects to a network in Europe - not when you buy it. You can purchase and install it days before departure; the clock starts after you land.
What if something does not work?
Right after purchase your order page has a chat with our support. You write, we answer - no account needed, no contact form to hunt for.
